Hasa presents two new tartes flambées, two new pizzas in our "Thin & Crispy" product line, and three new pizzas topped with seafood.

Pizza like it’s straight from the pizzeria – that’s what Hasa wants to offer its customers in German and European food retail. In addition to its own "Italissimo" brand, the company is particularly focused on the private-label segment. At the trade fair in Cologne, Hasa will present new offerings in all of its product lines: There will be tartes flambées (German: Flammkuchen) in organic quality as well as pizzas with extra thin crust and pizzas featuring seafood and vegetarian toppings.

Hasa GmbH promises to once again make an impressive showing at this year’s Anuga. "Trade fairs are still the most important platform for building on current business connections and developing new ones," says managing partner Andreas Czayka. Besides networking, special emphasis is placed on the presentation of new products, all of which are baked in a hot-stone oven.

Hasa, for example, will present two new frozen organic-quality tartes flambées, available in two classic varieties: "Bacon with Onions" and "Leek with Cheese.” There are also two new offerings in the "Thin & Crispy" product line, which have incredibly thin and crispy crusts. Varieties include the classic "Caprese" along with "Barbecue/Salami/Ham." Thin pizza crusts baked in a stone oven are also the foundation of three new seafood varieties from Hasa. Rounding out the product range, there is now "Frutti di Mare," "Scampi," and "Tonno Piquante." For those who prefer vegetarian selections, Hasa has offered for some time the varieties "Antipasti" and "Primavera." To complement this product range, a new variety will be unveiled at the trade fair which, as the company announced, is intended "for the meat lovers among the vegetarians."

Hasa offers all of its new and existing products under the "Italissimo" label. They can also be customized, however, to fit the individual brand image of each retailer. In this way, retail customers can set themselves apart from the competition.

Hasa, according to its own figures, continued to significantly outperform the overall market in 2014. The company further notes that the expansion of its production lines and logistics center was a success and has already had a positive impact. Currently, the company is expanding its storage capacity by as much as 100 percent. The production facilities are not everything, however. In Cologne, Hasa will make a special effort to highlight its own employees with an entirely new booth concept. “While our modern facilities produce great products, it is our employees who turn them into outstanding pizzas,” says Czayka.
